Gluten Free Jackfruit Pizza
An easy to make vegetarian, gluten-free, homemade pizza dough and toppings of your choice is a must try recipe for your next meal prep.
Ingredients
For Pizza Base
- 1 Cup Jackfruit Flour
- 1 tsp Olive Oil organic and extra virgin
- 1 pinch Salt
- 50-100 ml Hot water
For Pizza Sauce
- 2 Small Tomato finely chopped
- 1 Small Carrot finely chopped
- 4 Cloves Garlic finely minced
- 2 Small Onion finely chopped
- 2 tsp Dry Parsley
- 2 tsp Olive Oil extra virgin
- 7-8 Basil Leaves fresh and chopped
- ½ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Sugar
For Topping
- 1 Cup Marinated Paneer / Tofu Tofu for dairy free
- ½ Onion diced
- 1 Baby Corn
- ½ Red Bell Pepper thinly sliced
- ½ Green Bell Pepper thinly sliced
Instructions
For Pizza Base
- Mix Jackfruit flour, salt and olive oil in a mixing bowl. knead the dough by adding hot water.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and keep it aside to rest for 20 minutes.
For Pizza Sauce
- Heat olive oil in a pan.
- Then add minced garlic and saute for 4-5 seconds on low heat.
- Add chopped onion and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add chopped tomato and carrot, and saute for 4-5 minutes on low to medium heat.
- Add chopped basil, parsley, salt and sugar in it
- Add 50 ml of water.
- Cover the lid and cook 10-12 minutes on low heat till the tomatoes are cooked and the sauce has thickened.
- Turn off the heat and let the sauce cool.
- Once cool, grind it in a blender to get sauce-like consistency
For The Pizza Assembly
- Roll out pizza dough into a 10-12 inch pizza base and poke several holes with the help of a fork.
- Spread sauce into it, add a layer of (mozerella or vegan) and bake for 15-20 minutes in OTG oven at 200 degree C.
- Add toppings and again bake it for 10 more minutes. Your Pizza is ready to eat.
