Gluten Free Jackfruit Pizza

An easy to make vegetarian, gluten-free, homemade pizza dough and toppings of your choice is a must try recipe for your next meal prep.

Ingredients
  

For Pizza Base

  • 1 Cup Jackfruit Flour
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil organic and extra virgin
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 50-100 ml Hot water

For Pizza Sauce

  • 2 Small Tomato finely chopped
  • 1 Small Carrot finely chopped
  • 4 Cloves Garlic finely minced
  • 2 Small Onion finely chopped
  • 2 tsp Dry Parsley
  • 2 tsp Olive Oil extra virgin
  • 7-8 Basil Leaves fresh and chopped
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Sugar

For Topping

  • 1 Cup Marinated Paneer / Tofu Tofu for dairy free
  • ½ Onion diced
  • 1 Baby Corn
  • ½ Red Bell Pepper thinly sliced
  • ½ Green Bell Pepper thinly sliced

Instructions
 

For Pizza Base

  • Mix Jackfruit flour, salt and olive oil in a mixing bowl. knead the dough by adding hot water.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and keep it aside to rest for 20 minutes.

For Pizza Sauce

  • Heat olive oil in a pan.
  • Then add minced garlic and saute for 4-5 seconds on low heat.
  • Add chopped onion and saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add chopped tomato and carrot, and saute for 4-5 minutes on low to medium heat.
  • Add chopped basil, parsley, salt and sugar in it
  • Add 50 ml of water.
  • Cover the lid and cook 10-12 minutes on low heat till the tomatoes are cooked and the sauce has thickened.
  • Turn off the heat and let the sauce cool.
  • Once cool, grind it in a blender to get sauce-like consistency

For The Pizza Assembly

  • Roll out pizza dough into a 10-12 inch pizza base and poke several holes with the help of a fork.
  • Spread sauce into it, add a layer of (mozerella or vegan) and bake for 15-20 minutes in OTG oven at 200 degree C.
  • Add toppings and again bake it for 10 more minutes. Your Pizza is ready to eat.
